Dubrovnik Daily Sailing – Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions regulate the relationship between T.O. Dubrovnik Daily Sailing (us) and the customer (you). By accessing, browsing, using and/or booking/ordering a tour or event with us, you acknowledge to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
1. BOOKING AND ORDERING
Booking and ordering can be made through our website, via email, by phone or via third parties where our products are bookable (e.g., hotels, travel agents, third-party websites). The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all the people in the group and is responsible for all payments due. You need to be at least 18 years of age to be able to make a booking.
2. TERMS OF PAYMENT
Day Tours
To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due no later than 15 days before the sailing date.
Multi-Day Tours / Packages
Contact us for prices and terms since they depend on your particular inquiry.
All payments are processed in EURO. Payments are handled via Stripe, a secure online payment platform. When charging your credit card, the amount may be converted to your local currency according to your card provider’s exchange rate. Minor differences may occur due to currency conversion.
Security of Payment
We do not store your card information. All payment data is processed securely through Stripe, which is fully PCI DSS compliant. Stripe uses state-of-the-art encryption to ensure the confidentiality and security of your payment data.
3. CANCELLATION TERMS
We must receive your cancellation notice in writing by e-mail. Your cancellation date/time will be the date/time on which you send the notice.
Cancellation by Customer
- If you cancel more than 15 days prior to departure, 50% of the total reservation amount is non-refundable.
- If you cancel within 15 days of departure, 100% of the total reservation amount is non-refundable.
No-show
No refunds are issued in the event that you fail to participate in the tour you have booked. No-show will be charged 100%.
Cancellation or Changes by Us
We reserve the right to cancel or amend any tour due to circumstances beyond our control. Reasons may include: adverse weather, illness or injury to the guide/tour leader, or force majeure events. In such cases, we will provide alternative arrangements or offer a full refund.
4. OBLIGATIONS & LIABILITY
Customer Obligations
You must familiarize yourself with the terms of sale for each activity and convey this information to other participants you have booked on behalf of.
Health and Fitness
Ensure your fitness level suits the booked activity. Inform the guide of relevant medical conditions.
Compliance with Guide Instructions
Participants must follow all instructions from guides or tour leaders. The guide holds overall responsibility for group safety.
5. ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
All outdoor activities carry inherent risks. We implement robust safety measures but cannot eliminate all risks. By participating, you acknowledge a degree of personal risk.
6. INSURANCE
Personal travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommend that you obtain coverage for medical emergencies, cancellation, and any activities you plan to participate in.
7. COMPLAINTS
Complaints must be made immediately in writing to us, either via email or to the guide/tour leader. Written complaints must be submitted within 15 days of returning home, unless special circumstances apply.
8. PRIVACY STATEMENT
Collection and Use of Personal Data
We collect personal data such as your name, nationality, phone, email, and service details. We use this data solely to provide services or respond to inquiries. Data may be shared with our local suppliers, guides, or accountant to fulfill services.
Security of Data
All personal and payment information is secured via SSL encryption. Payment information is processed through Stripe.
Retention and Access
Data is kept only as long as necessary. You may access, update, or correct your information at any time.
